When your title leaves your hands, you lose sight of it. Every distributor, broadcaster and platform relabels it with their own identifier, so the same film or series fragments into dozens of disconnected records across the market.
Media Press gives your catalogue one permanent identity that travels with it. You register a work once, and that single identity carries downstream to every distributor, broadcaster and operator who picks it up, instead of being re-created, mismatched or duplicated at each step.
The products for your service
What this means for your service
You reach more screens, faster.
If you are launching a new studio, channel or FAST service, the hard part is getting your schedule in front of operators. Because Media Press already feeds metadata to broadcasters and operators worldwide, we can carry your content into the data those clients display — so your programmes show up in their guides and apps. Onboarding a new source typically takes days, not months.
Your title stays yours across the market.
One permanent identity means a film registered once is the same recognised work whether it airs on linear TV, sits in a streaming catalogue or runs on a FAST channel — no fragmentation, no duplicate records competing with each other.
You can see where your content went.
Instead of guessing how a distributor placed your catalogue, you have a factual record of where each title was available, when and in which language — useful for distribution oversight and for answering questions across territories.
Your metadata and images stay consistent.
The descriptions, artwork and identity that represent your work stay aligned wherever they travel, rather than degrading into mismatched versions at each partner.
Common questions
We already assign our own IDs. Why do we need this?
Your IDs work inside your systems; they do not survive once a partner re-tags your title with theirs. Common ID maps all those partner identifiers back to one shared identity, so your title stays connected across the whole chain — not just within your own walls.
Does Media Press manage or license our rights?
No. Media Press is a metadata provider, not a rights manager or relicensor. We give your titles a consistent identity, a record of where they were available, and the visual assets to represent them — we do not license your content on your behalf.
We are launching a new channel. Can you help operators carry it?
Yes. Media Press already delivers metadata to broadcasters, operators and platforms worldwide. We can attach your schedule or catalogue to the data those clients receive, so your content appears in their guides and apps. Onboarding an existing source format typically takes days.
Can you provide synopses in the languages of the markets we want to reach?
Yes. Our editors write and enrich synopses, and we translate and culturally adapt metadata for each territory, so your titles arrive ready for local audiences. Coverage spans 30+ languages.
Why work through Media Press instead of sending our data to each operator ourselves?
Reaching operators one by one means a separate integration, format and relationship for each. We already have those connections in place and deliver in the format each client expects, so your content reaches many operators through a single point — and arrives enriched, localised and consistent rather than as a raw feed each operator has to clean.
